What is Energy Healing?

Energy medicine is based on the premise that we have an energetic "life force", and that our energy centers (chakras) keep the body's cells healthy, functioning, and alive.

Energy healing is when a healer (that's me) channels universal life force into a client to help balance the body.  This is done by placing my hands either directly on or above the body.

-alleviates stress and anxiety

-allows for mind/body connection

-reduces pain

-allows for emotional processing

Energy healing is NOT a substitute for necessary medical care.

How should I prepare my hair for my appointment?

For best results, please come with your hair clean and dry, free of root touch-up sprays, heavy styling products, dry shampoo, etc.  Second-day hair is totally fine!

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please wear something that you don't mind getting wet or stained.  As careful as I am, sometimes water or haircolor can sneak past me, and I'd hate to ruin your favorite top.

Please avoid turtlenecks, hoodies, or high-necked tops unless it can be removed.  High/bulky necklines can be very difficult to work around and may alter the outcome of your service.

If you wear jewelry, please be prepared to remove necklaces and earrings that can't get wet, and dangly earrings that could get snagged on a comb.

Do you offer services to men and/or children?

Yes!  However, my services/prices are all age and gender neutral and include the same level of care and attention to detail, no matter who's in my chair.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

In order to provide the best scheduling options to all my guests, I do require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.  Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a rebooking fee of 40% the price of the services missed, which will be due before booking another appointment.

What if I'm running late?

If you're running late, contact me as soon as possible and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

Your services may be adapted to fit the remaining appointment time, without adjustment to pricing.

If you're more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and a 40% rebooking fee will apply.

What if I'm not happy with my hair?

If you don't love your hair, please let me know within 7 days of your original appointment so that I can make it right.  The adjustment would be complimentary, unless it would be a change from what was agreed upon in the consultation.

Any change that was not part of the original agreement (like a change of heart) would not qualify for a complimentary adjustment, and would have to be booked as a new service.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept all major credit/debit cards, cash, and Apple Pay.

Why do I need a card on file to book?  Is it secure?

I do require a card on file to book, as it protects my time and helps ensure the best scheduling options to all my guests.

Cards are processed and stored electronically through Stripe, the world's leading secure and PCI compliant online payment processor.

I do NOT have access to your card information.

 

Can I return products if I don't like them?

If you're unsatisfied with a retail purchase, you may return it within 14 days for exchange or retail credit.

 

Do you double-book?

No- I do NOT double-book.  Your time in my studio is just for YOU.

During your visit, everything is customized to you and your needs, and all of my attention is devoted to making your experience, and your hair, the absolute best they can be.

 

What are you doing to keep your studio safe and clean?

As always, your comfort and safety are my top priority.

All surfaces and tools are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and my hands are sanitized between guests.

All towels, capes, and other linens are washed in hot water with bleach after a single use.

Masks are currently optional, but I'm happy to wear one during your time with me if that's your preference.
