Frequently Asked Questions

How should I prepare my hair for my appointment?

For best results, please come with your hair clean and dry, free of root touch-up sprays, heavy styling products, dry shampoo, etc.  Second or third day hair is totally fine!

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear something you're comfy in.

Please avoid wearing a turtleneck or hoodie to your appointment, unless you can take it off.  Anything with a bulky neckline can be very difficult to work around and may alter the outcome of your service.

If you wear jewelry, please be prepared to remove necklaces and earrings that can't get wet, and dangly earrings that may get snagged on a comb.

Why don't I see services listed for men and/or children?

My services/prices are all ageless and genderless and include the same level of pampering and attention to detail, no matter who's in my chair.

What is Energy Healing?

Energy Medicine is based on the premise that we have an energetic “life force”, and our energy centers (chakras) keep the body’s cells healthy, functioning and alive. During a session, the healer (that’s me☺️) channels universal life force into a client to help balance the body. The results can vary from person to person, but generally, you can expect to feel calm, relaxed, and refreshed.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

In order to provide the best scheduling options to all my guests, I do require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

To make changes to your upcoming appointments that fall outside of the 48 hour late-cancellation window, click the link in your confirmation email, and you'll be able to cancel, reschedule, or make changes to upcoming appointments as needed.

If you need to make changes within the 48 hour late-cancellation period, please contact me directly at 210-797-7884.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a rebooking fee of 40% of the services missed, which will be due before scheduling another appointment.

What if I'm running late?

If you're running late, please contact me at 210-797-7884 to let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

Your services may need to be adapted to fit the remaining appointment time without adjustment to pricing.

If you're more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and a 40% rebooking fee will be due before booking a new appointment.

What if I'm not happy with my hair?

If you don't love your hair, please reach out to me within 7 days of your appointment so that I can make it right.  The adjustment will be complimentary, unless it would be a change from what was agreed upon in the consultation.

Any change that was not part of the original agreement would not qualify as a complimentary adjustment, and would have to be booked as a new service.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept Cash, Visa, Discover, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Payments are processed through my booking system, which uses Stripe, the world's leading secure and PCI compliant online payment processor.

Why do I need a card on file to book?  Is it secure?

I do require a card on file to book, as this protects my time and helps to ensure that I can offer the best scheduling options to all my guests.

The card on file is stored electronically through Stripe, the world's leading secure and PCI compliant online payment processor.

I do NOT have access to your card information.

Can I return products if I don't like them?

Yes!  If you're unsatisfied with a retail purchase, you may return it within 14 days for exchange or retail credit.

Do you double-book?

No- I do NOT double-book.  Your time in my studio is just for YOU.

When you're in my studio, everything is customized to you and your needs, and all of my attention is devoted to making your experience (and your hair) the absolute best they can be!

What are you doing to keep your studio safe and clean?

As always, your comfort and safety are my top priority.

All surfaces and tools are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and my hands are sanitized between guests.

Towels and capes are washed in hot water with bleach after a single use.

Masks are currently optional, but I'm happy to wear one during your time with me if that is your preference.
